Emergency Recall
Certain animals should be trained to respond to an emergency "recall" stimulus and be conditioned to quickly and reliably, leave their exhibit space for their bedrooms, no matter what may be going on in the exhibit or its surroundings. This series will provide a broad review of the need, considerations, systems, training and species selection process. Topics include an overview and five case studies of successful emergency recall conditioning with gorillas, polar bears, brown bears, tigers and African lions.
